I am sure it has been discussed many times but we are first timers here with a new brad 8 set up. I have manton push rods and have the adjusters with the oil hole. I have the oil that Noel Manton sells. I was going to put it into my squirt can and squirt oil all adjusters before each run.

Will that be good enough? We have squirt oiled it before ever start up thus far. The oil from Noel seams very thin and seems to just run off after it is applied. I have read here of guys using grease some say no others yes.

What do you use and what is your routine? Also curious on lash as bigger lets more oil get in while its running. We have been doing 24 hot thus far.

    Thanks,
    Billy Thompson

Brad 5 motor with Manton pushrods and adjusters with the oil holes thru them ,I give them a squirt of 70W Brad Penn in the hex of the adjuster and in the pushrod cup before the first start of the day and thats it . I have not had one problem!
OHHH, I almost forgot to mention that I also run the valve covers that Snyder sells with the oil sprayers in them ! ;)

we use the Tech-Line grease that Manton sells, great stuff. we use the adjusters with the hole in them(Manton) and their pushrods as well. as i am going through the valves i take a small grease gun with the grease in it and fill the hole in the adjuster until it comes out the ball on the pushrod. i really like that stuff because it stays on the adjuster....it's like everything else that Manton sells, it works.
