Div 4 LODRS TULSA Race Post Poned

Lynn Nickerson just posted "Hey guys, its true, the Lucas Oil division race at Tulsa has been posponed due to the weather. The new race date is June 25-26-27th"

Division 4 Lucas Oil event in Tulsa rescheduled for June 25-27

Inclement weather in Oklahoma the past few days and an extended forecast for more rain and storms, has forced Division 4 officials to postpone this weekend's Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Tulsa Raceway Park. The event will now be contested June 25-27.

"We apologize for the date change but unforeseen problems -- including parking issues, track seepage, and the forecast -- have forced us to make this decision," said NHRA Division 4 Director Craig Hutchinson and track owner Dan Guterman in a joint statement. "We are aware it is early in making this decision but we are trying to be understanding of the economic issues racers are faced with. The schedule for June 25-27 will remain the same for all the classes and we are looking forward to a great event."

The track is also planning a Test & Tune on Thursday, as was previously scheduled for the original date.

 

Unrealted, sort of...but Norman, Ok (not far from the Noble track) just had some nasty weather including a deadly tornado. Good call.
