Can anyone advise me what length the adjuster stands should be for a 10 inch, 3 disc crower clutch. with the small stands.
What is the usual length for the release bearing when using a Bowell 8 1/8 inch bellhousing.
What is the preferred clearance between the fingers and the face of the release bearing when the pedal is out.

the stand length will depend on the disc's and floater stack thickness
use your indicator to zero the stands
i have a bonninfante that uses i think .702 cover to donut (with out looking)

I always try for min. of .300 between the bearing and fingers with pedal out
you will be suprised how much of this goes away at speed
dont ask me how i know this either :D

    Crower 10 inch, three disc.

    Thanks for the reply John,
I have a 2 disc clutch and a 3 disc clutch and the adjustable stands that came with the three disc clutch are the same length as the stands that are with my 2 disc clutch and I would of thought that the stands for the 3 disc would be longer in length, as when the clutch is installed the outside adjuster is not touching the back side of the hat if i turn it so that it does the first clutch plate sits where the threaded part of the bottom of the aduster is.
