Earth Shaking Entertainment @ PINKS All Out this Saturday!

E.S.E will have TWO of our Alcohol Funny Cars and ONE of our Jet Funny Cars at Zmax Dragway this Saturday for PINKS All Out.

Bunny Burkett will be making exhibition passes -vs- Gry "LB" Pritchet ( Bunny's godson ) who is running in place of Bill Naves since Naves crashed last weekend and is trying to rebuild. We will also have Fran Peppler in her Jet Funny Car out of Chicago making exhibition passes. Hope to see some of you out there!

I am posting out of respect for fans on the East Coast. I have been to several of these shows and yes there are a couple of quality cars that race in this association HOWEVER the last several times I have witnessed Mrs. Bunny Burkett race she has hardly made it down the track in a respectable time, I am no racer but I am a fan of the sport and I do realize it takes alot of knowledge to make one of those cars run and I also realize Mrs. Burkett is a legend but when you can not get down the track or break on just about every pass why race anymore? you are not going to continue to get fans out just to see a LEGEND who can not get down the track.

First let me start off with this, I do race in that assocation with Bunny and I personally as a racer and fan of the sport think she does a great job of putting on a show, (hint the words Match Race) that is what we are hired to do is put on a show for the fans! All of the match racers do the best with what they have. It is easy to sit behind a keyboard and tell someone else how they should run there car after they have ran it. If you think you can do a better job why dont you get a car and come out and prove it like the rest of us have to do! She is a legend and I think she deserves a little more respect that what is being shown. If you really feel like you need to share your opinion of how she runs her operation why dont you stop by her pit and visit her at one of the "Several" shows you attend? im sure she would be glad to chat with you..

Wow what a jerk! Bunny is the coolest lady ever and I have seen her do some amazing 1/4 mile burnouts that would make john force do a double take ! as a racer not a "fan" I would just like to say to you .....If seeing a legend get on the track and spin the tires and not get a pass then gee we are so sorry we aren't entertaining you enough! tell you what tough guy how about you get behind the wheel of my blown 3000hp promod and see how easy it is just to roll through the burn out let alone get a good pass without spinning all that power right through the slicks! I dare you! Bunny Rocks and if you got a problem with that then don't come we won't miss you trust me !

Match Racers

As a "match racer" myself in my family's blown altered, I can understand what Tony and the rest are saying. We don't have a big budget, but have over 50!! years of racing experience in my family's race team. If we could afford to push our car to it's limit, it may go low into the 6 second zone at well over two hundred mph...but for who? We hit all the local nostalgia races, make side by side 6.60-6.70 runs with some of the nicest, safest people in the sport. At the end of the day, people come to our pits and tell us just how cool the cars are, how fast they went, or just wanna see them up close. WE put on a good, safe show, make long smokey burnouts, leave with the wheels up in the air, and have fun without blowing my stuff up. Last time I looked, my checkbook didn't say Force or Schumacher on it. Bunny has been doing this for many years, and is the class act for those to follow as a role model. She takes time for ALL her fans, and still gets her car down the track very well.

2 cents

Well Here Goes......To Race Fan #1....This is Bunny Burkett, celebrating my 45th anniversary in Drag Racing and I have alot more than "2 cents worth" to say, but at my age I can't get down low enough for you to hear me. Although I love all my racing fans, I would like you to know that you are "special" and win the award for the only 'trashing' I have ever received on-line! Congratulations!!! The check is in the mail!

You are correct, I have struggled at IHRA & NHRA National events the last few years, but I am there for all my #2 Race Fans, (since you are qualified to be the #1 Race Fan and seem to know everything about Funny Cars). I managed to qualify at least 90% of these events and clearly not a threat to the big sponsored competitors, but the fans never stopped cheering for my "Boys" and I. Even the "Pros" do not get down the track at times.

As far as breaking or not getting down the track at the Earth Shaking Entertainment shows that I have participated in........you my friend must need glasses! One time I had to shut off after my 1/8th mile burnout with the flag due to an oil leak. The balance of the E.S.E. races that I attended, I was there to match race and put on a show, which I did. I always had a long line of fans waiting for my autograph at my trailer when I returned from a run! ASK Anyone!!!!

I have over 35 years in a Funny Car and I live by the rule...that if the shoe fits...you must wear it, so I will wear one of your 2 cent shoes. I am happy to say that the other one does not fit, so you will have to keep it for your next 2 cent opinion of a racer that you would like to trash again.

Please.....add to your "2 cents worth of knowledge" [/U]....the fact that a person's reputation speaks for itself and is something you earn and cannot buy. I think you will come up with a big Zero on your opinion.

Remaining a Lady and no hard feelings, please feel free to come to the races and get in line and I will give you an autographed picture or give me your address and I will send you a photo along with my 44 cents opinion. Please have a Blessed Day.

our team was pitted beside Bunny and The Boys Easter weekend and there was always a line of people waiting to talk or get an autograph. She truley is a nice lady

people like you forget how to talk without a computer in your face.

oh yeah by the way why don't you come to the next ESE event and ask for Jagger, then be sure to tell him what you think of his drivers...

Who are you? Bunny and I are friends and I proudly sponsor Bunny. I have been friends with Bunny and Mo since 1967 when I worked on her 67 Mustang BSA. We have remained friends and infact Mo works at my body shop. My name is Dennis Whitestone and I would enjoy meeting you I work for Bunny on her racer. if you ever sat in one of these cars with it running much less have the chance to make a pass in one as soon as you hit the throttle you would be scared shit less and wouldnt be able to make a full pass with all the money we have in these cars we attempt to make full passes every time some times its the track and some times we mite make the wrong call on the tune up never less a match race to me is just as important as any other race and i (we) want people to remember us and how we perform and conduct are selves those pictures you see the drivers giving away there about 1.00 a piece and we give away hundreds at a time for your enjoyment and the thousands of dollars we spend to race try doing it on a weekly check like a lot of us do without big sponsors so we dont go down every time i asure you it is not from the lack of tring rather its bunny are myself i (we) try are best every time and if im not the fastest at a match race im pissed off so dont get pissie if we dont go down every time because im alredy pissed tring to perform and put on a show for you and the rest of the fans and MISS BUNNY BURKETT i have not been driving as long as you and i drive the balls off my car and watched you as a world champion and a match racer congradulations on a long career there is nothing you have to prove you already know that i look forward to getting to race aginst you at one of jaggers show in the future most people just have no ideal what it takes to drive one of these cars are what it takes to fund one besides opions are like assholes everbody has one and RACE FAN your more than welcome to stop by my pit any time if you have any questions man i got to rambling on but it is all true
