I use the ETC rev limiters for our SM IV's and love'm. You can't even see them come on when watching video of the run.
They are "soft touch" and affordable.
I've only ever known the PSI and Autometer units to be on/off/on/off... type of limiters for the entire engine, not individual cyls like "soft touch" systems.

I ran one with a mag about 15 years ago. Didn't like it. It completly shuts the engine off when engaged. It then requires to reset it to fire the engine back up.

Personally I would recommend looking at some of the soft touch MSD rev-limiter stuff. I think you'll be happier in the long run.

Not sure if the ETC unit works on the 111, call ETC to find out. 307-856-1637

For our SM IV's with an extra RPM activated switch it was $350.

The ETC is available as an upgraded piece from Spud Miller at FIE and can handle an uprated Super Mag V. Available as a straight rev limiter or a two step with an rpm switch. It looks a good piece and we have one, first race next weekend will let you know how it went.

NONE! do a search in the archives. general experience seems to be they do more harm than good. i ran without any limiter and did not have a problem even when the trans broke...

On the Autometer part be sure the 1/2 RPM test button is not facing forward or put tape around it.
I bought a new one to replace our old one and the spring was not strong enough so G Force would push the button in shutting the engine down.
I hate to admit how long it took me to figure that gremlin out.

Woke up one morning with the idea and went straight to the shop pushed the button on the old one then pushed the button on the new one and presto had the answer to why the car kept shutting it's self off at full throttle when it would never do it on the burnout or any other time.
And talk about pissed off when I did. One stupid little weak spring and all of those lost runs and money.
Now I use the thing for a shift light activator.
