Would be interested to put together a list of the suggested Engine Spare Parts that you guys keep in your Trailer at the Track.

As far as the engine goes: spare set of heads, 3 sleeves, sleeve puller, rack of rods and pistons ready to go w/ rings cut. Of course the little things like belts, rockers, etc etc..

Make sure you have a talk with the crew guys about spare nuts. Nothing better than having a crew guy tell you in the staging lanes "Oh ya, we are going to need some more valve cover nuts...... I could not find em' and used all the extra ones that were in the trailer......":eek::eek:

Push rods, adjusters, nuts, lash caps, springs, all good items to have.

    parts

stock everything small you think you may loose or need replacing. All the nuts and bolts you can call specialty fasteners. get 50 or so at a time. Get a set of blower studs + nuts burst panels, Think of the stupid stuff that can happen. I never really worried about carrying large parts. If I hurt it that bad, I will fix it at home. We will sit around and drink some beer. and finish watching and socializing. Remember the first rule HAVE FUN I'm not some touring pro. There is to much bull shit to not have fun. Just my opinion. Good Luck Don
