Dave Stevens of Woostock Georgia passed away over the weekend.I have had the good fortune of being able to work for and with him and his family.Dave was a very very honest respected individual, and has quite the lists of accomplishments, both on and off the track.I was planning to drive his Top Fuel car for him and his family this year. That chance ment the world to us,and for that I am forever thankful.Dave was a very good teacher, and took the time to explain things and more importantly listen and give an honest answer, not the answer I wanted, but the honest answer.he has taught me alot in the short time I worked with him.In sponsor hunting the thing that impressed me the most was the fact that if it wouldnt benifit the sponsor in a way they wanted in would not be done.
Dave was vey sucessful both in and out of racing, and always spoke of his family with pride, and always asked about mine.My father was in the hopsital a few weks ago for a pacemaker, took the time to give him a call and really ment it.
You will be truely missed ,condolences to your family,we are praying for them as you would want.
Thank you for all you have done,
    Rick and family
