you have a big pump for a small block so you have to get rid of the fuel some how and a loop is and the main is where to take fuel away mine has loop and two high speeds to take fuel away what do your plugs look like do you think it is lean are rich

    plugs look new

egt's show it's lean (hot) but motor want RPM up

had about 4 people tell us we are to fat and fuel burning in headers

we have in now, pump loop is a 110 and and main to a 90

is there a rule of thumb on loop size and fuel flow? same on main?

Increasing air flow will bring those numbers more inline.

If its blown, are you running any overdrive?

On my SBC, I'm at 1:1 on my blower and use a 145 main, going 20% overdrive will change my main pill to 100.

More overdrive will directly affect the main pill as does changing injector sizes.

If its not blown, you might want to look for a smaller pump.

Either way, follow Craig's advise on www.fuelinjectionenterprises.com .

    Good luck,
