My starter is in the driveline, but,,,
I would like to get setup so that I can borrow a blower starter as a backup plan;)
I have the SSI blower starter mount, SSI blower and what I thought was a long snout made by SSI. I'm doubting that the snout was made by SSI because the mount doesn't bolt to this (new to me) long snout. It has 3 mounting bolts, just like the blower, but the bolt hole circle pattern is smaller.
I was thinking I'd fab an adapter but I don't know how far the face of the quick attach starter mount is from the face of the drive dog.
    Can anyone help?

If 10 racers are at the same event, will any of there blower starters be able to start any of the cars?

The starters have different length cages on them.i would think that there is a fairly common length though. I would call rbs and get his opinion on the most common one he sells.
