I have a cam and the only identifying marks are these:
    669486 and 92e2a.
Anyone know any of these markings? Its was in a 526 KB stage V Thanks!

The 669486 is the number of the semi-finished core, and the other is the heat treat batch code. This particular 9310 steel core is for the 426 Hemi with standard size journals, and the stock 45 degree lifter bank angle. If Crane Cams had performed the finish grinding, it would have CRANE or CR, a grind number (or part number), and a date code also marked on it. As many other cam grinders also purchased their semi-finished steel billet cores from Crane, it may be necessary to profile the camshaft to determine the specifications, if you don't find any other markings. Regards, Chase

Better than that, you have a personal message from Mr. Knight too.
