I have only ever used the RedLine synthetic additive, never had a problem, the fuel pump lasts for years, compared to 11 months w/ no lube at all

    Blenzall

We always used Blenzall Gold Formula or Klotz Gold Label in our Alcohol and Nitro motors.

The blower would end up with a sticky glaze in the internal surfaces that would last forever unless you washed it out.

Sealed them up good and helped output stay consistent.

Fuel pumps liked it a lot too!!

The gold versions of these two-stroke oils had a good dose of Nitrobenzene in them back in the day, gone from the mix (EPA) these days.

    fuel check

if you are worried about fuel check - i had an nhra fuel check person show me one of they ways they check your alcohol for additives - they mix a small ammount of your fuel with a small ammount of water - if it clouds up it has a fuel additive - thus it is not legal for nhra racing. your fuel can pass the specific gravity test with additives but fail the water test. andy b.

Last year in Seattle, we were short alcohol to mix the Nitro. I ran home and grabbed 5 gal from the boat. We use the Pro Blend stuff. NHRA tech came over and tested it and gave us the ok to use it ????

    fuel check

another thing i found very interesting was the temperature chart he had - it only went down to 50' - he had to wait for the temperature to go up 2' before he could do the specific gravity check on my fuel. might explain why they are policing "icing fuel" since their charts don't go low enough to check the specific gravity. i have heard that lowering the fuel temperature on an A/F dragster is a way to separate the nitro and alcohol so the motor sees pure nitro and then after it's burned off only alcohol - this when fuel check comes around after the run it will not show over 96% since the higher % is now gone. andy b.

    fuel

There is Alky out there that already has the lube in it. Your plugs + pipes will look different. I used M-5 and it has lube in it. But for years I had to ran the straight alky in my TAD. It is alot more maintenance Do not run an magnesium parts in your lines. Or sit in your uncoated tank etc.It is no fun pulling every fuel line off the car to clean inside. Don
