fire suppression system

Getting ready to purchase a system for my nostalgia nitro funny car and am wondering which one to use. Who makes the best and complete system? What do you think? Thanks, Gary.

 

Dennis Taylor has a pretty good set up, he also drove the Future Flash nostalgia AA/FC.

 

my suggestion is to look to see how much it costs to refill. firefox is the company we have just recently used.

I just purchased the DJ Coldfire system from Good Vibrations. I has everything with it except the cable and tubing. You have to mount everything first to find out what lengths you need. I think its a good system and the guys at Good Vibrations were good to deal with. I havn't even mounted the system yet, but seems o.k. I would like a better manual to put together. It doesn't tell you much, just a diagram.

 

Ive used the DJ System TWICE! Worked both times!!

 

I just installed one of these systems and they dont tell you if you want a pull to activate system you will have to buy extra parts and modify the cable to make it work.

 

Just remember if you live in freezing climates and run coldfire to keep your bottles inabove freezing temperatures. Had 3 bottles freeze up on me one winter.
