I have a 70 nova, fiberglass body, 25.2 chassis. its a stock wheelbase length and width. Putting in a blown 540 on alcohol. my question is, if we put zoomies out the side, like on a promod car, will i have problems getting the car into a trailer with the inner wheel tubs of the trailer? i know most promods run a much more narrow body. i do not have a trailer yet but im looking to get a 36' gooseneck. any input would be greatly appreciated.

    No problems.
A 70 nova with zoomies will fit. Mine always had a couple inches on each side

was yours stock width and length? originally it was built with supports for the fenders just behind the wheel on the bottom, about 3 inches above the bottom of the fender. i believe the chassis guy is gonna have to change that in order to fit the zoomies underneath the fender

Just make sure you buy a 102 in (96 inside) wide trailer. The distance between the fender wells is usually the same between a 102 and a 96, but getting out of the car with a 96 in wide (about 89 inchs inside) is a lot harder.

    trailor advise

    we have the same problem
    what we did
    take the nose off
store it on removable 2x6 just high enough to clear the deck of car
install 2x6s cross ways of trailor
back car in up to just shy of zoomies
    lock it down
we have no prolems this way in our 28' trailor
car has 114" wheel base 102" wheelie bars
    hope it helps
