Looking at buying a quadstar injector, but have been told that there can be some issues with getting the injector to idle correctly.
    Is this the case?
Ps if there as been another thread on this please direct me there.

I ran a Quadstar on my 375" smallblock chevy with a healthy 10-71 SSI.
I had no idle issues at all !
I'd be willing to bet I could idle it down enough to stall the engine.
I did spend some time getting the blades all evenly seated and centered in there bores first but I do that on all my injectors anyway, just a habit i picked up from back when I worked with stack injection ;)

We ran a quadstar on our TAFC for a few years, I loved it. Never had any issues getting it to idle nice, had great throttle response too!

I couldn't get mine to idle down so I just made new blades. the originals had 0.010 all the way around(sides and top).I haven't tried the new ones yet so no results.

Sometimes when you can't idle down an injector hat it is because there is an air leak between the injector hat and the top of the blower. I always seal mine with a small bead of silicone.
