I have a Mert 1471 Hi Helix and with the snout I got the blower opening on the bottom meaning the small part of the pie, is going to be 1 inch from the opening in the back of the intake. Is that too far back or am I good?

It is the way the intake was made I suppose. This is an Arias Chevy with Bac-Man heads. They are symetrical ports like a hemi. It has a mag intake and it doesn't look like anything special. With a 5 inch snout the front of the blower opening is at the very front of the intake opening. So now with the 12 3/4 snout the rear of the opening is all the way at the back I have discussed with Mike on here before about how the air comes out of the blower as well as the angle of the air. So I was just wondering if there is a piont where you can go too far back.
