the 14-71 has 2 white strips and 1 black strip with large top and bottom opening standard everything else. The intake I have now for this blower is just a street manifold and I had to make a plats to block some of the bottom of blower to fit manifold.

the 8-71 hi helix with 60 degree rotors and has single white strip on top of rotor. It also has standard top for birdcatcher and normal bottom. One thing I forgot to mention is the 8-71 has taller intake with it. I dont own this one yet but wanting to know if I should get it from friend.

New at this and trying to find out what would be better for me. Thankyou all for helping me out.

being a helix I beleave it should have 120 rotors. also there is alot of good blowers out there at a good price try to find a blower that at the hit makes the boost as in a 14-71 hi helix retro small discharge bottom...Dave

David, I would recommend a Miersh manifold and 14/71 hi helix. You may have to go to front drive dist. If you have any questions give me a call. Joe 559-287-0952

    Educate me.

I don't know much about competition blowers, why are fuel blowers undesirable?
