2010 rule changes

    Whats the deal with the rule changes. We look them up on NHRA website and it doesn't show anything for TAFC. It use to have lots of pages and now it only shows 10 pages. Did they cancel the changes or what. Is there a list somewhere to look them up if not?

    As I recall:

    Automatic chute deployment/fuel shut off/ignition kill system connected to burst panel(s). Lehey deal.

    Fireproof covering over flexible brake lines.

    Approved burn down tube breather hoses and puke tank hoses.

    Larger and/or approved puke tank. The one I have been running was made by Grant Downing a couple years ago and Collins said it was "Good."

    Any rear body release mechanism is approved now that we all bought the junk from McKinney to do it wrong the first time in 2009.

    You probably need to download the 2010 rulebook and read it.

    Rule Changes

    From what I see all the rules were posted before the rule book was printed/ and or posted on the web. Its all in there...

    Wasn't the eject helmet removal system also going to be required? (air bladder to help remove helmet and not have to put strain on the neck when pulling it off).
