port injectors

would anyone have pics of there fabicated sheetmetal valve covers that they modified to clear the port injectors with ss lines?bbc tall deck with compition bds blower intake;send pics to hotrodharley@citlink.net

I think you also need to say (with sheet metal valve covers)

This happens on a tall manifold??? May I suggest you contact BDS about correcting their machining/ design errors. They were very helpfull. Even provided info on the correct welding rod to fix their part.

 

I have noticed several things in regards to this;
1-some valvecovers clear better than others
2-some people bend there injector bodies aways from the valvecovers
3-our Indy manifold has the injector body holes machined at an angle away from the valvecovers
4-my biggest bother has been the one valvecover bolt that lines up with the one injector
5-short deck manifolds with spacers clear better
6-would short injector bodies help you?

 

ok..looks like i may need to get rid of my sheet metal valve covers and go to spmething else.what covers are everyone using that doesn't need modified to clear port injectors?short or long injectors?PICS would be nice..i have tall deck block/brodex heads/BDS blower intake
