Nice job Mike. The way the video is put together, the viewer gets to connect with you guys on more of a personal level than just watching the car go down the track. Best of luck

    Great work! A few comments...

It might be a bit long for the non-racing fan.

When doing the camera work on and around the car, dwelling on recognizable sponsor names and contingency stickers (as well as 'thanks to' lettering) will help prospective sponsors recognize that others see value in you.

I'll assume many of the action shots were from the right side of the car because the light was better. Good from a photography point of view, but with the exception of the Pinks event, the first thing you see is empty stands. That doesn't help attract potential money.

For a fan, like me, it is awesome, but I'd be happy watching just about any drag racing video...:rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Nit picking ok?

I noticed you looked away from the camera several times.
Only for a very short time but enough to make me wonder if what was out of our view was more interesting then your story.

I liked the way you put this thing together!!!

Yes, This was my first time on camera and I was distracted a couple times unfortunaley we only had one day to shoot so we couldnt fix it. I agree with the armdrop live event, the stands were quite full but at times they cleared out, I am hoping by myself explainin that there was 50k in the video that they dont relaize the shot.

    Thanks!

Nice job on the promo video. However do yourself, our sport and anyone near your car at a car show a favor. If you light it up...and it's not on the track or your not strapped in...make sure it's on the stands!!!

    THINK SAFETY...NOT COOLNESS FIRST!

    Safety

Of Course saftey is our number one thing, and why we spend so much and safety equipment. The clip at the end has my self in the car and no we would never move the car at a show to many liablities.

We do enjoy showing the car however it's not everyday people get to see a hotrod of that calibre.

We will be at the 2010 Performance World Car Show at the Toronto International Centre march 12-14.

Hope to see some of you there.

    Thanks,
    Mike Hinbest

    Mike:

I'm sure you spend plenty of money on Safety and practice safe methods...BUT take some advise from a guy who had to write a eulogy for a great driver who passed away this summer because he 'was in the seat of his dragster during a warm up' and the throttle hung open in gear and rocketed him at 100 mph into a trailer.... (read about the accident here.. http://drr.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/75460652/m/251108861 )

If you are attempting to attract sponsors, new fans, or just trying to get some pub....do the right thing and go above 'safe'. And seeing you in your car wampin the throttle with the tires on the ground is not that 'safe' in my professional opinion.

The vid was great up until that last part.

Makes sense to always have it on jack stands even if it is a powerglide tranny, i always just figured it was the same trans as people run in normal cars so the chance was the same of an issue. (in concept the glide is similar, i know its performance....)

But with racing anything could happen and it could some how drop into gear, at the track we always warm up on stands but i never thought of it befor for other times when just starting but not running the tranny.

We are a brand new team to this high powered world and appreciate the learning opportunity.

    Thanks
