We use countersunk (tapered) screws from the backside of the can to hold the candlestick in place. That surface area on the back of the can has to be flush to mate with the Lenco or you will have an alignment problem.

The Lenco bolts to the can through the reinforcing spuds that are welded to the inside of the can. They line up with the holes in the flange on the lenco. The countersunk holes in the candlestick are only for mounting the candlestick to inside of the can. Be cautious with the threads in a Titanium can- they are easily stripped out. Thats why the trans mounting holes have the reinforcement welded it. Dave Germain

another thing gaz, put 2 orings on the tip of the input shaft between the shaft and the pilot bearing will keep the input from beating the corner of the aluminum candlestick and wearing it out, they are really thin there and after time will crack from being beaten with the input shaft. dan
