With all the talk of modern carbon fibre hats flowing really impressive figures, what is the best flowing non composite hat?

Things like Enderle's B&U, S&U etc, modified buzzards from the likes of Don Gerardot, Quadstar Injectors, PSI low profile hats.

Would be interesting to know if anyone has tested any of these, and which have had the best results.

I cant give any numbers but I know a few guys that run real well with the non composite injectors the Ken Veney and the Condor that Jeff Fowler produce.

Exactly the best alky racer in the world has no carbon fibre enough said i think.
And if you really want to buy into the air flow bullshit just buy an air flow programe for your computer and let it design some plates for you. That's all the so called blower experts do.
Disclaimer : just because the programe and dyno says it is good doesnt mean it is

Exactly... Mark Thomas ran pretty darn well in IHRA (roots) funny car with a Veney injector.

The carbon injector isn't always about flow, it's a weight savings thing. Yes I know that certain hats supposedly flow better than others, but did the car go faster? Boost is just a number on a data graph....the number that matters is at the bottom of the time slip. When we had a roots blower we ran an Enderle Bird, Knut, Fowler Condor, and a Falk....the car never showed huge gains to where you'd say "man I'm sure glad I spent $2-3k on that hat". I would think it to be most important in a limited overdrive situation, where you have to make every bit of air count. This would make a case for bigger sq. in.'s, height to get "clean air", and contouring the inside of the injector to the supercharger opening.
