On board camera

Does anyone know where to get a good on board video camera that will work on a open car with a Mallory mag?

VIO POV.1 onboard camera is good quality, mine works without interferance when the recorder unit is only 20" away from mag, 10" away from Coil. Using 6amp Supermag

There might be better one's out there now a days but the POV.1 works fine on my car.

I use the gopro, it works very well and very affordable, no interference from my mag 44, can't say about the mallory though

Guys I am a dealer for the go pro. Here is my take and you decide.

Personally I dont like the noise interference the go pro gets, some are good some are not. Its really wierd.

I use the FLIP CAM.. EL CHEAPO... I first paid $150.00 for it, I have seen them on sale for as little as 69.00 THEY WORK AWESOME!

The go pro has a much wider angle but the sound doesnt always work good. Here are a few examples.

I feel like the lil flip cam does a better job and doesnt distort. My car SHAKES the tires VERY bad and the flip cam hardly picks it up.

 

"Catch it Cam" is what we have used the last 3 years in the sand with a blown hemi. Its the same system that is used on ESPN (when ever they decide to show some racing It works like a dream no mater how hard you shake and it could care less about the Mag.
