Has anybody dealt with or heard of this person

    Has anybody ever dealt with or heard of Janet Williams in Europe? Listed some parts for sale at racejunk.com and had a reply from this person.
    Sorry Will I still have to finish my add to post here.Haven't had time to post but will post on Monday or Tuesday. Spelled out some very explicit terms. Will be intresting if I get a responce from that person. I have read to many horror stories here about racers being screwed. It helps to know these things so we can keep our guard up.

    Very interesting! I posted a for sale add on Nitroland classified and ever since have been getting scam emails from all over the world wanting to deposit money in my account!!!! Also to send money order for more than the purchase amount. What you get is a fake money order that will not come back on your account until after you have given the excess amount to another party and shipped the part. Most don't even know what it is you are selling. If you send an email back and tell them that it will be at least 30 days before you ship you will never hear from them again. I just send an email back telling them to get a new scammmmmmm.

    you should not even reply to these sad wa**kers that send those scam emails, because then they will keep on sending them to that email address cos that got a reply!!! they are vermin

    bob if it is any kind of deal other than them wiring you money and you sending the part, its a scam.

    the scam works something to the effect of they are a reseller, send them x amount over what it's worth, then they will cut you a check or something like that. it's a hoax with different aliases every time. i wish they could find the sob doing it, but there is probably more than one.

    i would be very careful in those dealings

    I even got an email saying I had won a 20 million jackpot drawing in the UK. Almost had to take my pampers off over that one.

    Thanks everyone.
    I had a feeling that this might be a scam , thats why I spelled out very explicted terms. If you pay in cash through a 3rd party meet me at my bank to verify cash is good & not counterfeit, Pay Pal account or a bank draft but must be verified & cleared my bank before shipment. I have read to many horror stories here & the news about racers being ripped off.
