Hi guys, Tony is telling me that there is a pedal that is supposed to help with staging that was on here and on racing junk but I can't find the info anywhere. Any ideas on where I can get some info?

    Thanks guys,

WE MAKE A TRICK GAS PEDAL THAT YOU CAN SET YOUR STARTING LINE RPM WITH WITHOUT
USING A 2 STEP OR AN AIR CYLINDER. IT IS ADJUSTABLE FROM IDLE TO 8000 RPM., AND USES YOUR EXISTING THROTTLE CABLE.
IT HAS BEEN TESTED AND RUN ON AN ALCOHOL FUNNY FOR THE LAST 3 YEARS AND IS DEAD NUTS CONSISTANT. IT ALSO KEEPS ALL YOUR CYLINDERS AT THE SAME TEMP AT LAUNCH.

Call me slow but now that I have seen a pic I don't quite get it.
Does one shove the whole thing forward on a slide with your heel to stage? Then stomp in the normal fashion?

My only question is anyone that's ran or running a launch controller/throttle stop knows that if you set it at whatever rpm, the longer you wait the more the rpm's creep up when your staging. Hard to believe they'd get a consistant rpm by just cracking the blades.

That's what it looked like to me. Foot forward, staged....toes forward, launch. Might as well spend half the money and be able to leave at full throttle and let the button do the work. : )

Very trick idea but it's gotta hurt reaction time on a pro tree. There's no way around that.

I slide my heel to stage and am only allowed to use the standard style transbrake button...no fancy Biondo's = boo! It did take some getting used to but I noticed no difference in reaction time. My pedal is similar to this, but not exactly the same. I talked to the guy who makes them...I never really grasped how it worked. Perhaps if he reads this or if anyone knows, we can get a detailed explanation on the function. I like that it uses only one cable, saves me weight:cool:, but I need it explained in detail how it works before I spend $425....oh yeah....I need it in Ti:D
