When showing our top dragster people keep askign what PSI the blower makes.

I have a 1471 ssi blower spinning at 26% what is the PSI?
What is the max psi te blower can make?

Would be nice to tell people the real info.

    Thanks!

Install a blower pressure gauge with memory kit in the manifold from RBS Superchargers for about 80 bucks or better yet the pressure transducer on a RPM Performance Products Pro Data Logger will do the trick! Mistery Solved!!

    Thanks,

If you are looking to get "in the ballpark" than let us know what cid, heads and max RPM you run. We should be able to get close. Could also use the supercheap method of measuring boost. Take a tire gage, the 5-50lbs range, and cut off the round ball looking head, than use hose clamps and a rubber hose to connect it to the intake.

The only accurate way to know would be to test it on your own car. Everyone else could only guess.

I get 25# of pressure on a 6-71 24% OD with a 500 CI AJPE Stage V headed TFX (4.187). I would think if the 14 is tight, it would make more than my 6.

10-15 yrs ago we ran almost 40 psi, 540cid, Dart 360's, LF HH 14 with Davenport mods and 45% over and 6500-7000 engine RPM.

If its a show car make up a number.
If its a drag car run it with a gage on it. Wont cost much and you will know.
