6-32 x 1/2" long is what my box says. But I have nuts on the back side (in the hallow of the rotor).

the ones in my rotors are a tiny bit smaller and a finer thread than a 6-32
if thats what you guys have then i can drill it out a little and use a 6-32 but mine are different

Jim: I know exactly to what you are referring. I have an older mag case Littlefield 14-71 HH and the 4-40 screws were too small, and 6-32's were too big. The screws ended up being 5-40's. I had never heard of that size but it does exist. I believe the rotors were retro-fitted with the strip screws (since the rotors have stake marks in them), and for whatever reason they used the 5-40 size. Littlefields said they only ever used 4-40 or 6-32, but maybe some other blower service place was retrofitting these rotors with screws using the 5-40 size??

Before finding the 5-40 size, I had thought about drilling them out to 6-32, but the countersunk head size is too small, and if you tried to enlarge that, it might protrude into the strip location too much.

I bought them at my local industrial supply store. If you can't find them, I could probably get them and mail 'em to you.

    Anyway hope that helps

if you are going to look locally try the hobby shops, that screw seems to be popular for hobbyists for some reason (via searches) i doubt you will find these at an automotive or hardware store. the box stores and pep boys chains put most of the mom and pop stores out of business.

Our blowers were brand new from LF with 6-32 in them. I specifically remember this because some holes had the threads stripped and had nuts on the inside, from brand new. I was not impressed:mad: I did like the blowers overall.
