We have about 35 gals. of alcohol stored in plastic fuel jugs, the fuel has been in them for about a year. Have you guys ever ran into any issues where the fuel goes bad when stored that long. Also wondering if alcohol has a shelf life and would it be better stored in drum.

If it is not open to the air, it should be OK. Check it with a hydrometer and it will tell you if you have an issue.

you should store the alcohol (methonal) in a steel drum for any real length of time. It can and will draw moisture thru the plastic jugs. 1 year turns to 2 or 3 very quick. as to shelf life its not beer with a born on date. if its a couple years old and clear it should be ok. VP does not pour it on the ground at the end of the year, it gets sold first in the spring.
