Donovan D500 Block - Limit

    I'm looking at putting a blown meth deal together for a T/S bracket application, using an old Donovan D500 aluminum block that we already have. Wet block & heads at this point, although we could grout if we have to.

    Assuming that everything is machined right, and done right, and that the revs won't be huge, how far do people think this block and bottom end can be pushed? Looking to have some reliable fun, not to rotate the earth. Would grout really be necessary?

    Is this a Donovan BBC or Hemi?

    Im asking because if it wont stand up for you, it may work for me as is.
