Boost increase due to larger fuel line

Can some one explain a a significant increase in boost presure after changing the fuel line from the tank to the pump with no other changes to the car ?

Maybe your sealing the blower up better?

 

Was the corrected altitude the same? Did the fuel flow increase signifigantly? (Few Gallons)?

altitude did not change or temp did not thing or almost positive th blower was sealing or it may have gotten past us.
Its bbc with a 14-71 kobelco.

 

Well, the only thing i think that can happen is that the old main fuel line was a restriction. When the new line was put on, the restriction was removed and more fuel flowed to the engine. This may have caused the blower to seal better, and create more boost. You may not have seen a change in the mixture due to the more fuel needed to burn with the extra air if infact the blower was pumping more air.

Im no expert, but that's the only thing i can think of.

I agree with Mike the (super rich now)... Just out of curiosity what size line did you have before..?? and what size did you go too..?????

 

Not sure what they had,we went over to finish the car and the guys there run a T/D with a BBC and went up to a 1 inch line and the boost increased and there confused in a good way.
