    How long will fuel stay good in a sealed barrel inside the shop?

    Steel barrel?
    Air tight?
    6-12 months and it still tests perfect.

    How long will Jack Daniels stay good in a sealed barrel :rolleyes:

    Assuming that you never opened it. A lined barrel like VP uses will keep your fuel fresh for years & years.

    Amen to that.

    I bought Nitro for a fellow racer and stored it in the shop for a couple weeks. I couldn't help but sniff it once or twice.....or three or 1200 times.

    Had a competitor sit out of competition for 14 years before returning this year. He had alky from back than. We checked the specific gravity and it was the same as my fresh stuff.

    I recommended not running it:D

    HAHA... MMMM the smell of nitro, I have to keep a few gallons around at all times just so I can motivate myself through the winter.
