Nice win. Congratulations! Who said blown cars couldn't compete at national events. The Blue bunny machine was one of the fastest cars all weekend and deserved the win. Hat's off to you and your crew.

What a great weekend of alky racing, both the F/C's and the Dragsters put on one awesome show. I appreciate the opportunity to help you on the line in the semi's and finals. Congrats also to David and crew in winning the Fan Appreciation Low E.T. qualifying award. David Smith and myself were both proud to present it to you. Thanks for the memorable time this weekend and once again congrats on your win in Atlanta.

Just wanted to say that Mike had the baddest hot-rod all weekend. He was in the 30's all but one pass. Nice job with the car and tune-up. A little sleepy in the second round, though.

Over there you say Mike's AF/D was the baddest hot rod, but over here you act like David was on equal footing. The difference between the Plain Vanilla team and the rest of us, this weekend, was that David and crew made no mistakes. A pretty tall order to fill.

Anyway, congrats again to Mike and David and crews.

Just don't like to see David's victory used to slap him with. In my opinion, he made the run of the year (so far) in the 3rd qualifiying session.

Just trying to give respect to 2 guys who deserve it.

 

I am sure David will like the compliments guys I will let him know about all of them at Topeka as they are not gonna be home till after then. Going to Great Bend this weekend then to Topeka. PTI the award from you and David Smith was a great deal there and I am sure that Mike Gunderson liked it also. It is nice to see someone do things like that for the alky cars. Marty you are right we didnt make any mistakes all weekend really things went well all the way around. Too bad we couldnt have raced in the semis there that always makes for a great race. Also George and David thanks for the help up on the starting line and also in tearing down it was greatly appreciated and hope you made it to the movie George before the wife got mad at you heehee. What else can a guy say about you two other than thanks for caring for the class like you do and Dave you have got to be the #1 alky fan of all time! See ya in Topeka.

 

Just curious, since there were only 2 A-Fuel runs in the .30's that I saw. Was the Air pretty bad? Didn't seem to hurt them in Gainesville, just an observation.

 

Nice Going David and Team was alot of fun this passed weekend! Look foward to seeing everyone in Topeka.

La Don thanks for the compliments I will always do my best to support the Top Alcohol Classes. Got home later then I thought so hopefully tomorrow I will get the Fan Appreciation Photos up.
