5.65 in woodburn

    congrats jay payne on the 65 in woodburn this last weekend

    DT said the corrected altitude was something like 600 to 800 feet.

    Jay makes a lot of power and in that air he could have run 5.40's. He must have had to pull a plug wire to keep it hooked up at Woodburn.:D

    I was standing behind Jay's car on that run and it appeared to me that he drove through some substantial shake (the tire marks indicated that also). Jay also had a .017 light in round 1. The man can drive a TAFC.

    damn i didnt know the car shook
    i was down like in the middle of the staging lanes and just saw the score board
    i wish they could have got the final off

    Our TAFC team with Jeff Ashwell driving lowered our personal best that weekend from a 5.86 to a 5.74 and he also had his fastest MPH at 248. That was an awesome weekend for the team.
