Is it time for an A/FC?

    There has been some talk over the last several weeks that the NHRA is now considering allowing an injected nitro funny car in 2005.

    It would add some interest to a class that seems to be disapearing. Sad to have half full classes at National Events. If something is not done NHRA might go to an 8 car show or worse!!!!

    my sources indicate nhra is looking at it more seriously than before...

    If NHRA made A-Fuel FC allowable. I just hope they stay on top of it to keep it a level playing field. Despite the adjustments NHRA has made to TAD, the A-Fuel cars still have an advantage IMO. An All A-Fuel class in Dragster would get old fast! Whatever NHRA does decide, just keep it level.

    Scary,

    NHRA puppet, Len, would have you belive that the changes in TA/D have made everything perfect!

    Seems odd that the Austin's cannot run a Ford motor, but an entire new combination is now a good idea.

    Maybe Force want's Ashley to get some seat time in a FC, but does not want her to have to swap feet and shift it, and does not want her in Fuel FC yet?
