I need some help with a project we have going. We bought a hemi blower motor and are switching it over to procharger. We need to move the procharger back and the oil pump is in the way and it is in the front of the mag housing. Can you take the oil pump of and just cover the front? is there gears inside that we will have to get something to contain the mag stuff inside?
It is a older arias/fontana 8.3 hemi. We also want to put a mounted starter ( kind of stock style starter) but here is no provisions on the block. I bought the flywheel/midplate/starter combo that is suppose to take care of this just wondering if any of you had any experience with this to save us a few mistakes along the way :)
Forgive me for my lack of mechanical knowledge I am co owner of the car and just trying to have a little fun. The guys that are doing the sitting it in the car have no mag experience so just want to make sure we dont screw things up before we get started.
    Thanks in advance

Is the car equipped with the ATI midplate flywheel that and a glide?

If it is I a guy on here fastavenger uses one on his car and it works fine. 14/71 JP1 glide but it seems to just have enough grunt to spin it on 16v so unless you already have a 16v system in the car I would go ahead and step up to 24v I doubt the starter would mind it as long as you did not crank it too long.

If you have any specific questions on the setup you can PM him and I am sure he would be happy to answer them.

Is your procharger an f3 139? I would be interested in knowing how it works out and the setup MFI, Constant flow, Blow through:(

Procharger is a 139 f3 efi. It is close we are workin on the starter now. Need some aluminum block skirts. We have some magneseum * sp ones but need to do some modifications so aluminum would be better. We already have a 16 v system. Hopefully in a week or 2 I will have good news to share :)
