TAD Stats

TAD and TAFC Racers and fans, I am putting together a racing stats database and I need your help and suggestions.

Please go to the site by clicking here and click on the "Racing" menu item on left side of the screen. Please note that your browser must be Flash enabled. You will be redirected to the racing stats screen. In this screen are 3 dropdown lists, "ET", "TOP 10" and "BOTH" are the default items with a "Run Query" button.

Press the button and the default query will run showing the top 10 quickest et's for AFD and BAD. Try running different combinations of the dropdown lists. Please note that not all qualifying runs have been entered, but, they will be entered at a later date.

The help I am asking for is letting me know if you receive any errors or have any problems seeing the results. Currently, in Netscape 7.1, when selecting "DRIVER" in the first dropdown list, the Drivers list does not display, just run the query and the list will then display. I hope to have that solved soon.

The suggestions I am requesting is for any queries that you might like to see added, or, any additional data to be entered and displayed.

You can either post your problems/suggestions here, or, send me a pm. In the future, I plan on doing the same with TAFC and would welcome any input from those racers also.

Good job. combine that with all the top alcohol stats I have compiled at speedzone and the racers are covered.

really cool idea. How about adding RT's to the query profile. Also, please add Alan Bradshaw to the driver list. It looks like this list is 2004 only. If so, could you post 2003? Thanks, Alan

backattack, I will be adding rt's to driver stats in a couple of days. I will also be adding the top average rt.

Will, I don't have all qualifying runs in yet, just the runs that determined final spot. I will be adding the rest by this weekend.

Some of the ideas I thought about were query by race for qualifying, eliminations, mov, weather variables. Anybody have any other ideas?

Almost forgot, the data is for 2004. Maybe in a future date I can look at adding previous years data.

Update: I have added all National and Divisional races for this year. I have also added a couple of more features that might be of interest, specially the query that runs initially comparing BAD's and AFD's.

If you see any errors in the data, please let me know so that I can correct it.

UPDATE II: I've added TAFC, a TOP GUNS section, RT's in DRIVER Stats, searches by Race for DRIVER Stats, and added Race Stats which displays winner and runner-up numbers, measure of victory, top speed and low et for race selected.

 

One thing I've noticed more than anything is; The A-Fuel cars have been more consistant that the blown cars this year!

 

UPDATE III:
I've added the Non-Qualified stats for AFD and BAD, and, a summary of National and Divisional stats for each class.

Please let me know if there is any other stats you would like to see.
