    498" BBC, Blown Alcohol, 26 Pounds of Boost, 10.7 to 1, 6800 RPM, 3 shakedown passes.

    Also, they have been sitting for a few days ( hence the rust )

    well they dont look fat irun a new set each pass when im working on the tune up its hard to tell from the picture it looks like it burning all the way and up to the first thread looks a little hot from what it looks like if the air would be real good you would be lean you need a weather station to help you tune it its just my opion mike c. know more than i do he would maybe know by the picture

    Definitly close to 911 if in good air from what I see in the pic, looks to be all around and down to the first thread, are all like this?

    whats your main,jets on hat and ports? Hi speed set at etc? We runa 540 and a 496 bbc on alcohol around same boost,Vinnie

    the last pic looks like it is 3/4 around? if that rite it's on the safe side I usally burn down 1 to 1 1/2 threads but I also know were my tune up is..dave

    It is a little hard because you have more than one run on the plugs. If the plugs looked like that after one run then it is a good safe tuneup. Not much heat in the motor and just burnt off all the cadium. You can go leaner and it will start to go frosty after pulling out more fuel (powdered sugar sprinkled on top of the flat base metal). If you want a good safe tuneup then I would stay there or maybe go 10 larger on the mainjet. If you show us some plugs with just one run on them we can tell you more.
