get the manifold cut for an o-ring. usually a .125 or a .139 is fine. you don't need to use a gasket or cut the blower. just a good rubber o-ring is the best. i used to put a little white grease or oil on the o-ring before setting the blower down on it.

    O-ring

O-ring for me:D Make sure you get someone with knowledge of the correct depth to cut! (MERT'S)
I got a manifold done some time ago and the cord was a little proud. When the blower was pulled down the case distorted a bit and the rotors crashed:eek: Once it was sunk a little deeper, no problem:rolleyes:
I beleive a friend of mine used to get a real nice "SOFT" cord through PSI, but i'm not sure if you can still get it:confused:
    Just my 2 cents.......

THANKS everyone..i just e-mailed mert littlefield about doing it for me then...he just got my blower today to check over and repolish and machine for 2 rear fuel nozzels for me.i like dealing with him..he gives me a price up-front and that means a lot to me..being on disabilty i got to know close to cost first so i can sell something or paint something so i'll have the cash when done.can't afford to send things off blinded folded not knowing how much until done.Mert takes the time to do this for me and understands me.he doesn't make me feel like the old saying and a lot of places live by this saying..IF YOU HAVE TO ASK HOW MUCH THEN YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT;;;SO DON'T WASTE MY TIME;;i called servel other blower rebuilders and all had this BUT NOT MERT..
