Is Brooks still in business? Tried calling the shop in LA the past couple of weeks with no success - non business sounding message on the machine.

My question: I "zinged" a set of B2's when my Lenco failed....... Didn't know if Brooks inspected rods or if they should just be cycled out and thrown a thank you ceremony for staying in the motor. They LOOK ok - for whatever that is worth.
Scenario = 11K + RPM, blew out the burst panels, trashed the heads, valve train/pistons KB hemi with screw. Thank you.

    Rods

Throw them away, doesn't matter who's they are. one nick can cause a weak spot. They are cheap compared to the carnage they can create. Don

I'm not sure, but I think Brooks Rods is closed on Fridays.

    Call and confirm.
