Blower Belt Guard

    Trying to find out which blower belt guard seems to work the best. I am looking for such a guard.

    Yea, I just put a RCD belt guard on, I like it alot. RCD had good stuff and reasonable pricing.

    TC Machine through RBS. A little pricey but very pretty and it works great. Make sure you get a plate for both sides. If you don't support it well, I have seen RCD stuff (or any other MFG for that matter) turn into junk after loosing one belt. If you don't care about the looks, build one from chrome-moly tubing, that works great too.

    RCD has got some great stuff, BUT our engine backfired with the starter still attatched and it turned the pin-bolts / belt guard etc...
    But with those forces - maybe a home made one of chromemoly would do better?
    We still have the rcd, but now with a spare because we can afford to have one!

    Dale Cannister makes one and Jeff Fowler sells it. I def. think it's the strongest thing out there and won't budge when you kick a belt.
