I happen to make the ring machine sold by Total Seal, Childs and Albert, Ackerly and Childs, etc. It's more accurate and more compact than any other grinder on the market and is used by many of the top engine builders in the world, including Penske racing, Illmore engineering and Cosworth. The 2 fastest alcohol funny cars Manzo and Payne have relied on the Ring Machine for many years. If you have any questions, just post them or email me.

Where can I get one of the C&A ring filers? What makes these better than the Goodson units?

If you read the posts Mike Walker just about 5 posts ago said he was the one who makes them for Childs and Albert, etc. Don't leave home without one.

If you buy the ProForm bolt it to the bench, because you'll want to throw it against the wall. Childs & Albert is the way to go.
