    say this fast to someone= if a chicken and a half layed an egg and a half in a day and a half how much dose a lb. of butter weigh ?

    Taking the average weight of a feather at .00125 pounds it would take 1,600,000 feathers to equal a US short ton. With an average density of 1.3 g/cc, if packed tightly, a ton of feather would fill and area of a little over 24 cubic feet.

    Marble with an average density of 2.56 g/cc or 158.2 lbs / cu.ft. would fill an area of approximatly 12 cubic feet.

    While, at first glance, it might appear that the marble would be smaller and easier to lift the fact still remains that they both weigh 2000 pounds.
