What happened to the thread about Bartone driving for Rick Jackson and getting back together with Steve Boggs?

Will Hanna deleted it as it was only speculation, there has been nothing said by any of the parties involved to either confirm or deny any driver changes for next year. Until something is said officialy by those involved, we dont need to be discussing or speculating about it.

 

First, it was announced over the loud speaker on Saturday during qualifiying that Tony Bartone would be driving for Rick Jackson next year.

On Sunday, I was told by one of the parties involved that Tony Bartone was also going to be driving for Rick Jackson unless something has changed from Sunday to yesterday.

Would be interested in knowing who asked to have the original thread removed.

 

I asked Will to remove the thread out of respect to all parties involved and the formal press release is announced. If anybody has any questions, feel free to call me

 

It certainly sounds like it's a done deal. Besides, speculation is what makes these message boards go. It's a free country, at least after April 15th.

Isn't that what silly season is about. Look at the threads at the mater about the new driver for AJ.
That is one of the problems with the TA classes IMO, so many (teams, drivers etc) are not thinking about the promotion and the exposure part necessary for the class, they are only thinking about their own personal agenda.
Will you know how important promotion is and how important exposure is this is was exposure.
The classes (TA) will never get the repect they need and deserve if you keep everything inside a plastic bubble.

Plus it is a given that Von Smith is going to be invlovled with the Al-Anabi Pro Mod deal.

You are free to feel any way you want about what I said wether it be off base, sad or what not. Just voiced my opinion like anybody else. As I have been told in the past, because im not an owner, driver or crew chief my opinion doesnt matter.

 

Frankie are you saying that unless there is a written press release stating news on a team we should not speculate.
A surprise coming from you when 99.9 % of your posts are very educated and very insiteful about promoting the two classes.

Not to start anything Will, while I understand your position to pull something based on a request from a sponsor or maybe a person in either of the two classes who are at the top on the said class(es), do you agree with this policy, I would think you don't

Thank you for the compliment on the majority of my posts though. I try not to overstep my bounds or come across as some know it all. I am pretty passionate about the classes even though I am only an occasional crew member on cars.

Ok Von took a vacation at the wrong time - Tony and Dunn are done - Boggs is already with Jackson racing and the only question left is will Grant join the reunion party ?
I was going to ask you this question at the B-day party but you did not show !!
