How is the site working for you?

Not sure if you were aware of this Will, it might have been my computer but when i tried to go to the site i got something similar to the internet cannot display this page, but with a database error. Got back onto it in about 20 minutes, but if its not only me maybe its something that might be useful to you.

Other than that, great

 

Had the same problem as Stefan yesterday. Tried back a bit later and it was fine....

 

Im assuming if its a texas based company they might still have some issues due to hurricane ike.

Edit: didnt read wills response its a provider not server issue

I was actually surprised that the site went down again after you did so much work getting a new provider. It happened though!
Just keep trying to make the site more reliable. That is all any of us can ask, or expect!
Is it Friday yet?

 

It is better than it was, I went a whole week and could not get on before now I get on most every time.

It was down Monday morning with a database error message...

 

Dont worry your not the only one. Will i had the same problem, is it just the server going down?

 

I too have received the database error.

And Will, if I can make a suggestion, when you move the forums to a different subdomain, can you put a redirect from old to new, I hadn't realized you had moved the forums and I my bookmark was pointing to the old subdomain and kept getting an error which I thought was on the server end.

Anyway, if you could put that redirect, old bookmarks will still work.

I had the database error first thing Monday morning between 7 - 8 am est...

 

I had this problem roughly the same time as poster above(sorry forgot your user id) ... hopefully this doesnt get read the wrong way but when i first was just browsing the forums about a year ago i never ever had this problem so maybe you should re consider that provider, what ever fits your needs, its a free site but im just saying maybe thats something you are interested in.
Other than monday i havent had the problem since. Maybe what you did now will fix it. Ill report in from canada whenever i have this problem

I had the db error again this morning, 6:30 AM or so.

 

i also had it at 11:00 AM

 

i just had an error.....can't find database about 5 min ago. 8:30 pm est. once in a while i get those, but only on this site.

 

I also had the error on Wednesday morning 10/15....

 

Had trouble getting on this morning and this afternoon.
