Aftering seeing the Over Boost activated fuel rev limiter on RBS's website it got me thinking.
Several times I've broke valvetrain and my boost number was higher than normal. I didn't hurt anything because of the lean condition that I first thought it would create. Because I didn't hurt anything it convinced me that enough fuel was coming through the blower to richen up the other 7 cylinders.
Then I saw this overboost rev limiter. Do you use one?
    What's been your experience?
I've often thought about using a 2 way valve to block the HS as a rev limiter.
    Is anyone else doing this?

Is that an overboost rev limiter or an overboost timing retard? I have seen the overboost timing retards where you set a boost limit then if it hits that limit it pulls out timing to stop detonation and take power out of the motor incase of valvetrain failure.

The MSD 8973 will also do that function with the addition of a Racepak boost sensor. It comes with the connector plug and all you need to do is add the sensor.

Gorr sells a device that puts in more fuel in cases of overboost.

Does the "fuel enrichener" protect against high RPM in driveline failures or more intended for a loss of traction scenario?

No concern for a hydraulic situation? Would be nice in the burnout, when the sprinklers come on, back out of it....

I would love to be able to return no fuel when the motor spins to fast via the overboost signal. But it scares me, won't it hydraulic:confused:
