I wasn't 100% where to put this, but this seems a good Q&A area.

Basically I'm weighing up the pros and cons of getting some racing t-shirts done of the car, but with the sheer logistics of minimum orders, I was curious of how well other teams have done with sales of their racing shirts before I take the plunge.

I'm aware some people won't like to say about sales on a public stage, but if you are willing to give me a quick heads up then a PM or email would be very much appreciated. Any information would help me really, even if it's down to what colour sells best, white or black, or what sizes sell best, it'll all help.

    Thanks

    Joe

We have always had Greg Ozubko design and print our shirts, always first class quality. The nicer the shirt you have, the more likely you are going to be able to sell it.

If you sell the shirts in dribs and drabs, you won't notice the profit because you'll likely spend it on gas to get to the next race. We are going to try to pre-sell a bunch of the shirts this time, so we have a significant amount of money to either buy parts, or order more shirts.

You can get in touch with Greg at:

One thing I would say is make sure there good quality t shirts, ours are 200gsm and hold there shape properly, worst thing is a cheap t shirt and the neck ends up half way down your chest.

Also I would say white is always a winner (even though ours are grey....long story)

Good luck though mate looking forward to seeing them

Thanks to everyone who helped me with the t-shirts.

I've taken the plunge, and they are being designed as we speak.

Once they are designed i'll get a photo up here and show everyone.

    Thanks again

The guy who designed the render on my car does t-shirt designing, so he'll be doing my designs.

He's called Peter Walters, his website is:

    www.pwrd.co.uk

The next stage is finding a good company for printing.

Yeah Peter's stuff is excellent, i'm really looking forward to seeing how they will turn out.

He has done a lot of work for me since I got my altered together and he's been helping me a lot. He recently has done some crew shirts for me, they will be ready in the not too distant future too.

Anything to help improve our image.

For the shirts themselves I will be creating a online store on my racing site, so you can buy over paypal so anyone that wanted one can get them really easily.
