    Hi All

I have an opportunity to purchase a PSI "B" at a great price but I'm not sure how far behind the eightball will it leave me?

Can it be made into a "D" or does it require new rotors etc?

Any ideas on performance level with a "B"?

    Thanks for the help

My understanding is if it is a light color mag case 206b they were modified into the retro 206d by changing the case and using the same rotors, this is know as the short shaft d as the later d has longer shafts and the gears are different between the two. If it has a dark grey mag case the blower is a 200h comonly know as the 200b this is a different rotor and can't be changed, if it is a blue green color and is the same size and shape as the later b and d it is a 206a and I don't think that can be changed.

Yes, you can make a B blower into a D blower. You will need a short shaft D housing and new gears. Kevin cantrell.
