The Altered Driven by Mark Sheehan, tuned by Rory Taylor, a long time racer and tuner here in W.A went .0899 to the 60ft, but then got a little out of the grove and lost the final running a 5.808, the night before it went 3.64 to half track, before losing a belt, but still set the national TAA record at a 5.789. There is a lot left in that car, and if it all goes right, this car has .50s, maybe more in it

Low ET landed with a TAFC driver Aaron Lynch at 5.640 and a TAD driven by a new comer and local Aaron Deery set the TAD National MPH record at 252.10. Ben Bray who has run a best of a 5.52 over a year ago, ran a 5.673 at 252mph in the first round.

The bump spot in the 8 car field landed with long time and multi national champion and all round nice guy Gary Phillips at a 5.959 There were 10 cars that fronted for the round out of the ten, six were TAFC's three were TAD's and the one TAA. Steve and Janelle Harker were also in attendance hanging with the Phillips team.

    Overall a good weekend.

Mike; great shots (except for Newby, the only one of mine there).
The yellow TAD I guess is the Adam Dreery car, who did he buy it from?

    Thanks in advance, Bob

    Hey Bob,

It was built by local chassis builder Ian Jenkins of JPP. And yes it is Deery's car. That Newby car sure has had a lot of laps on it now, and it still goes well.

    Thanks for the kind words.

    Regards,

    Mike

    Woodchip,

They are all running PSI's, but don't quote me, I think the rules only allow them 92 on the OD. Not 100% sure, but about 98% haha. We do have a local dragster an ex Jeff Isbell car owned by Adam Croker who is running a roots, he went a .67 a couple of weeks ago.
