Does anyone know if lowering the front of the motor so the pinion angle on a rigid dragster is slightly negative, will enhance traction? I know the pinion angle is not changing between the rear end and the crank but I don't know what else to call it. Yes, I'm keeping everything in a straight line, just not parallel to the ground.

Fitting larger or smaller tires has nothing to do with your question!!!! You seem to be confused, you better call me.

    Dear RLPRACIBG,
I don't know who you are, but you are about to enter an area where very few people know or understand what you are about to do. But I will tell you this, when you get it right, hold on to your hat. You will fly.

Hi Bob, Ken Sitko here. I should know this, but just wanted to check. I have a 292 inch TAD, and the motor is very high in the car. The front of the crank is a good 12 inches from the ground, and when it had a screw on it, it tended to do fairly high wheelstands. I am running it with just a roots, and plan on running the wheelie bar fairly low. Other than re-mount the motor (which is a lot of work), do you have any suggestions?

Ken; most of my stuff was 46" out, raised the crank bolt 3/4" from dead level and it helped the 330' a lot. AS you probably remember, I could care less about 60' stuff,as the whopper 60' times are usually hooked to the story of "boy if we could've made it past 80'- look out!!"

Also remember, a wheelstand is a definition of the wheels not going around fast enough.
