KB Block numbers.

This may seem like a weird question KB block number 3306 is stamped near oil pump, other number is 8/N2373. Anyone know which block this may be? Thanks for any info.

 

Call KB Racing Engines. They will look it up and be able to tell you who originally ordered the block new and the original specs, the "Stage #", deck height, lifter size, bearing size, bore size, etc. Of course, the specs may have changed since then but the info would be the blocks starting point.

They will not answer the phone or e-mails. I need some parts and can never get them ordered. Even tried to order a block and cannot get in touch again-TRUE, but SAD!

 

Tried calling all day yesterday would only ring, now this morn it's only busy. Lol. Maybe there's hope.

 

In the past, I have called them almost every day for 3 weeks straight with no answer. This is why I get everything from BAE now. Good luck!

 

I just called KB and got a recording. I left my name and number and that I needed information on block #3306. Maybe he will call back.

there is a page on facebook, keith black racing engines, Kenneth is normally very active to responding on that page and helped me a lot with the same info on my block that youre chasing.

 

I talk to him quite a bit never had a problem getting him on the phone

 

good luck getting ahold of them I called for weeks to get a part finally got an answer and part was supposed to ship next day. well finally after 4 months and at least once a week phone calls (with no answer) I had my local machine shop make the pieces I needed.

 

Same here...numerous calls, left messages...no answer, no returns. Donovan took care of me the same day. JW

Stamped on the pan rail ? Do the numbers on the main caps match ? How many bolts on the sides of the main caps ?

 

I left a message a couple of days ago and left my call back number and a short message about needing info for the block and the block number. No call from KB yet. I would highly sugggest going somewhere else. I know some racers try to support the underdog but after the dog breathed his last breath months and months ago, I would just go to BAE and whoever CAN and WILL sell you parts and support their product. Sad but true.

 

Last time I tried, got to talk with Ken OK . . . , not have my block S/N in his book . . . .

I can understand being in ill health but it seems to me that posting a note on FaceBook or on the company recording or letting his customers know why there are communication problems would be a good idea.
