Looking for a new Oil Pan for my KB olds. Anyone have input on the Jeff Johnston billet 2 piece pans?
I called them and the only thing they advised you have to pull the Rail on the block is to check the rear main. Does it make it difficult to check the Rod Bearings?
    Thanks for any input.

IMO 2 pieces means 1 more than 1 piece to leak.

if its like a chevy style with horse shoe front and rear seal the 2 piece makes checking the bearings very simple.o ring seal no RTV needed The only thing you cant check is the rear main

Whats the key to getting a pan from Williams?

I waited 2 years and many, many, many phone calls before I got mine. The first one was the way wrong and the 2nd one was also wrong but I'm not sending it back, I'm cutting apart and redoing the minor problems myself.

His welds and prices are fantastic!

This was a full kickout BBC wet pan.

Haha, he offered me free valvecovers also because it took so long. I didn't take him up on it.

We even ordered several more pans and valve covers to try and leverage, we got those but not the original one till much later!
